Regenerating tissue for anterior implant esthetics in presence of vertical defects is always challenging. While it is possible to regenerate bone vertically, unfortunately, the critical final few millimeters where the gingiva meets the prosthesis often do not emulate natural gingival architecture. This often means the difference between esthetic looking restorations verses long crowns without papillae or crowns with prosthetic artificial gingiva.
This presentation will focus tissue regeneration for partially edentulous vertical defects in the esthetic zone. In additional, surgical grafting and prosthetic manipulation of soft and hard tissue for anterior peri-implant gingival esthetics will be discussed.
