To Drill or not to Drill? (Development of new standards in the preparation of the implantation site, based on new trends and designs considering bone physiology)

Saturday, 2nd March 2019

Hall A – Sapphire

Abstract:

Dental care using dental implants is a standard treatment in most parts of the world.
The technological developments of the last three decades and the patient's exposure to information, create requirements for faster, more aesthetic, less traumatic, and more predictable solutions.

In this lecture, we will discuss an innovative approach and its rationale, of preparing the implantation site using a minimally invasive method by using a novel implant design for minimal drilling and bone preservation.
Clinicians will be able to understand the benefits and be critical in the decision process for case solving.
